Disbursement Flow

Disbursement transfers the loan principal (minus admin fees) from the lender's escrow wallet to the borrower's DOKU wallet. Processing is asynchronous — QFAST notifies your system via webhook when the transfer completes or fails.

1. Overview

After a loan reaches active status, the lender initiates disbursement through the QFAST dashboard. QFAST then processes the transfer internally and sends a webhook with the result.

2. Prerequisites

Loan must exist and be in active status.

Lender's DOKU escrow wallet must have sufficient balance.

The borrower must have a valid DOKU wallet configured.

3. Disbursement Amount

The amount transferred to the borrower's DOKU wallet is:

disburse_amount = principal_amount - admin_fee_amount

The reserve_amount is held by QFAST and is not transferred to the borrower.

4. Status Lifecycle

Status	Description
`pending`	Disbursement created, awaiting processing.
`processing`	Transfer is in progress.
`completed`	Funds successfully transferred to borrower's wallet.
`failed`	Transfer failed. See webhook payload for reason.
